Science
We follow the National Curriculum for science through the RISE Curriculum, and plan for progression and depth across all year groups, ensuring all pupils develop their scientific knowledge and conceptual understanding through specific disciplines of biology, chemistry and physics.
We endeavour to give children a science curriculum which enables them to explore and discover the world around them and the impact that science has on our everyday lives. We try to provide a stimulating curriculum with a strong emphasis on hands on, enquiry based learning that promotes questioning and nurtures children’s natural curiosity.
Our science is taught through direct science based sessions as well as through links with other areas of the curriculum.
